there has been a an issue with Namor..Namor might be withheld due to licensing/legal reasons ..

I just saw the news about the Phoenix Five joining the Avengers Alliance game on Facebook, WITHOUT Namor! I can't remember the last game Marvel put Namor in, and yet when he's part of team in the game, you STILL cut him out? Why would Marvel do that?

There are limitations on the rights for Namor in video games--somebody else may hold the license at this time.

Wow, the interval between spec ops are really short... I'm guessing they sense that players found a rhythm to get all they want fast. I wonder if Magik is worth it?

Edit / Add:

Er, if anyone is kind enough to give a heads-up on what the tasks are, I think it'd be really appreciated ;D It'd be just like the last spec-ops, wherein we knew which heroes to recruit. I'll do my share (so sorry it's just the first 6 tasks, I just started):

1. Defeat 5 test subjects
2. Complete 1 Deploy Mission
3. Defeat 1 mini-boss (Avalanche is the 1st you'll encounter)
4. Receive 10 Unstable ISO-8
5. Defeat 1 boss (Emma Frost is the 1st you'll encounter)
6. Research Phoenix Essence in the Lab (requires 60 ISO, 8 hours and silver)

IMPORTANT TIPS - Don't make the same mistakes twice, thrice

- Task 1 can complete this in non spec-op missions: C2M5, C4M6, C6M4.
- Task 9 can complete this in non spec-op missions: C1M5, C1M6, C5M1, C5M4, C7M4, C8M6.
- Task 19 can complete this in non spec-op missions: C1M1, C1M3, C7M1, C8M5.
- Task 2 and 10 can complete deploys in non spec-op missions.
- Task 8 and 18 can be done in non spec-op missions.
- Task 20 - Danger Room: Complete 3 PVP battles. You can do this in Practice Mode.

Break the Ice: Defeat 10 Jotun. They can be found in Mission 2: Knock Knock.

Teleporting For Fun And Profit: Use Magik's Stepping Disc Ability 3 Times. Magik is a Team-Up for the X-Men side Boss of Mission 2.

Fire Eater: Upgrade the Phoenix Talon to the Phoenix Pinion in the Lab. The Phoenix Pinion can be researched after acquiring the Phoenix Talon. It requires 300 silver and 120 UISO-8. Takes 48 hours.
Requires 20 gold to skipReward: 100 XP

Starstruck: Get 2 Stars of Mastery in Mission 2.
Requires 20 gold to skipReward: 1000 Silver

Avenging Angel: Take 5 Avengers Into Battle. The Avengers are a team of earth's mightiest Super Heroes. Iron Man, Captain America, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Thor, Hulk, Scarlet Witch, Black Panther, and more are all members.

Hydrated: Defeat 10 Hydra Soldiers. Their soldiers can be found in Mission 3: Versus.

The Leader: Defeat Cyclops. Cyclops is the Boss of the Avengers side of Mission 3: Versus.

It will be better if someone here can share tactics to finish spec ops 3 quickly. I remember fellas across the internet manage to formulate ways to finish spec ops 2 quickly. Like chaining mission objectives at one go. One good example from Spec Ops 2 is this:

ok... to unlock epic boss in task 25 in the Avengers side, you need to recruit Black Panther (90cp). While on the X-Men side, you need to recruit Gambit (90cp), Nightcrawler (48) and Rogue (90cp).
So that's 318cp for 25 days..

WHOA!!! for new gamers looks like PD really like force them to use real cash to finish the spec ops 3

Sometimes i think whether Magik is worth it.. like all required hero recruits have 90cp equivalent. I have no problem with Black Panther.

But is Rogue and Gambit worth 90cp? I know Emma's worth it. But the two?

I have Rogue already, she's pretty awesome...but i'm thinking of just getting BP and then spend 25 Gold to skip Task 25 and get Magik xD

I know fellow filipino MAA player who bought enough Gold to skip tasks..he got Magik in a day! LOL talk about addiction..and spending power! XD

Looks like they changed the Scrapper. That character won't immediately make the second attack. It'll happen in the next turn.

I'll manage to finish Task 11 tomorrow night. Just inquiring a heads up from those who are ahead of it.. Darn.. i already spent 200 UISO-8 :(

I hope there are more ways to finish Spec Ops 3 without wasting too much UISO-8. Like a better knowing of when and where to spent UISO-8 correctly..

200iso remaining, 2star Mission 1&2 and not started Mission 3. My estimate to get Magik is 10-12days =)

short on iso's for the talon due to not properly reading the task where i need to use magik's 3rd skill 3x. had to repeat the process. though i've 2 starred m1, 3 starred m2

Sir deathzero23's post was really useful... got me to finish tasks 7-10 today! [image]

I'm pretty nervous about tasks 24 and 25, given that people need to be recruited to get to the Epic Boss battles. Nightcrawler, Gambit, and Rogue, right? so that's 228 CP. [image]

I hope the daily reward thingy will be good to me...
