For me, an adequate amount of relevant accessories is better than a whole bunch of redundant ones.
it is a bonus if they can all hold, snap and strap all the gear and accessories, though extras give an additional play for multiple figures of the same type, same as the others 
Moneys worth = Plays worth + figure + relevant accessories + packaging
